We Are Followers Of Jesus Defined By
Dependence
We trust the Bible & prayer as the means God uses to begin restoring individuals to His design.
Multiplication
We equip leaders with the training & experience to make more followers of Jesus in more places.
Diversity
We unite individuals in our neighborhoods from different cultures & backgrounds to follow Jesus as one family.
Compassion
We pursue overlooked individuals in our neighborhoods so they can also experience God’s design.
A church is not a building or service you attend, but a people who are committed to follow Jesus together.
What We Believe
-
We believe the Bible, as contained in the Old and New Testament scriptures, is the Word of God and is totally true, trustworthy, and free from error.
-
We believe in one living and true God, existing eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
We believe in God the Father, who reigns with providential care over His creation and foreknows all that will come to pass according to His sovereign will.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as an atoning sacrifice for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, who proceeds from the Father and the Son to indwell every believer at the moment they are born again spiritually.
-
We believe humanity is the special creation of God, made in His image for the purpose of worshiping and delighting in Him.
-
We believe marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman exclusively in covenant commitment for a lifetime.
-
We believe all people have a sinful nature that corrupts every aspect of their being and leaves them spiritually dead in their sins.
-
We believe salvation is offered to all people and comes by faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, by God’s grace alone, according to the Bible alone, to the glory of God alone.
-
We believe a church is a congregation committed together under Jesus Christ that gathers to worship God, teach the Bible, exercise gifts for serving, and enjoy unity in Jesus.
-
We believe there are two ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ for the local church to celebrate regularly— Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
-
We believe the local church is an autonomous congregation that can best promote the good news of Jesus Christ by cooperating with like-minded churches.
-
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to the earth bodily and visibly in glory, the bodies of the dead will be raised, and He will judge all people in righteousness.

-
In August of 2019, the Page family was sent out from Oak Park Baptist Church in the Louisville area to start a new church in Pittsburgh. They partnered with Renaissance Church to learn from them and build relationships in the city. On January 17, 2021, during the Covid-19 pandemic, a team of twelve families from Oak Park, Renaissance, and others in the community began meeting in the Page’s home for groups and training. We officially committed as a church on Palm Sunday, 2022 and started worship gatherings in rented space from City Reformed Presbyterian Church.

We are a non-denominational church in the sense that we are self governed and not under the control of a larger Christian organization, but we believe we can better accomplish our mission by cooperating with other like-minded churches.
We partner with these national organizations for encouragement, equipping, and missional efforts:
